Head to Parkland College for a few hours of creative fun at the FREE 3D Modeling for 3D Print Workshop on Saturday, September 30th from 9 am to 1 pm for students and community members aged 15 and up!
Expand your skills into the realms of the creators and makers! If you are interested in product design, concept art, engineering, or have the inventor spirit, learning digital modeling skills can empower you with the abilities to make just about anything you can imagine. Check out the plan!
In this workshop you will design and model objects using Autodesk Maya, industry leading software for 3D modeling and animation. They will introduce you to a variety of 3D printers: Makerbot and Formlabs liquid resin printers, which will be used to print your creations.
This group will meet in the digital media lab, room D227 on Parkland Campus. Seats are limited, so Register Soon!
They will provide some great snacks, and participants can connect with their digital media faculty. Parking info and additional directions will be sent to those who register.
