At Sleep in Heavenly Peace they fully believe that a bed is a basic need for the proper physical, emotional and mental support that a child needs. Come volunteer with SHP to build 80 beds for kids in the Champaign Urbana community. Give kids a good nights rest so they can succeed in school and have a better chance in life.
As a volunteer, you will have a chance to learn how to use woodworking tools such as saws, drills, sanders and many other pieces of equipment. No experience necessary! They will teach you how to use all of the tools. Kids are welcome as they will have jobs for all age groups!
If you are not able to sign up to build a bed you can also donate NEW twin size bedding sets on the day of the event. Please sign up at the link below!
