OSF PRO Ambulance
Every year at OSF PRO Ambulance, we recognize our hard working Paramedics, EMT’s, and dispatch staff during EMS week. This year EMS Week is May 19-25, 2019 and the theme is EMS Beyond the Call.
We believe that it is important to partner with local schools to help demystify the EMS system and develop relationships with the young people in our community. As we at OSF PRO Ambulance go Beyond the Call, we are excited to invite teachers and their classes and parents and their children to EMS for Children Day which is Wednesday May 22, 2019.
EMS for Children Day will take place from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. at our 408 South Neil St. location. Activities will include ambulance tours, interaction with HAL, our training simulation manikin, tornado safety, minor injury treatment education, a car seat safety inspection station by the Illinois State Police and much more.
School bus parking will be available and family members of students are welcome as well.
Educators, please call the OSF PRO Ambulance office at 217-337-2911 and let us know how many students you will be bringing and whether you prefer the morning or afternoon time space.
