A talk will be given by a professional or amateur astronomer on a different topic each month including upcoming astronomical events, constellation lore, CUAS planned special activities, current research, and other topics. The group will use the planetarium’s projector to view interesting upcoming events happening in the night sky. A short club business meeting will follow the talks. Members will be happy to help you figure out how to use your current telescope or help you figure out which type you may want to purchase. If you join the club, you can use their observing facilities and equipment. They also have monthly Family Sky Watch at their observatory just 3 miles southwest of Willard airport.
