Come join seven local high schools – Central, Centennial, Uni, Urbana, St. Thomas More, and St. Joe – for the third annual Caring Carnival, a community-wide fundraiser benefiting Eastern Illinois Foodbank.
The event is on Saturday, April 6th, from 3 pm to 6 pm at Central High School in Champaign, and all ages are welcome. The high schools are grateful to work together to make a bigger impact to help alleviate food insecurity.
This year’s event includes a volleyball tournament, STEM Challenge contest, carnival games, food, and more! There are three wonderful opportunities to participate:
- STEM Challenge Contest: This contest is an exciting new addition designed by the University of Illinois, and the materials sponsored by Home Depot. Teams of two to three students can register for $24. Middle school and high school students welcomed to participate. No preparation is needed, and the challenge will be announced at the Caring Carnival. Please register here.
- Volleyball tournament: There can be six to eight players on each team, and it’s $54 to register. Middle school and high school students welcomed to participate, and all experience levels are welcomed. Please register here.
- Attending the Carnival: There will be food, games for ALL ages, and fun!
