C-U Black & African Arts Festival mission is to expose and give a culturally diverse experience to the Champaign-Urbana and Central Illinois community by expressing both Black and African heritage. Mark your calendars for September 9 & 10, 2022 for this year’s event! This year’s 2-Day festivities will kick-off with The Soul Rebels at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, September 9th at 8:00 pm!
On September 10th, dive into more celebration with Live Performances, Vendors, Kids’s Corner, Food, Fun, and more from 9am – 5pm at Lincoln Square Mall.

This event is FREE, family-friendly, public & sponsored by the Urbana Arts Grant Program.
