Parkland will host a free hands-on career exploration workshop for high school students at. Their Business and Entrepreneurship Experience will feature Business and Accounting programs and will be taught by Parkland faculty and program directors.
The workshop will be held Thursday, November 14th, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Parkland College’s B wing on the main campus, 2400 W. Bradley Ave. Seating is limited. Lunch and will be provided. There will be a campus tour, and participants will receive a Free t-shirt and swag bag.
Students will experience hands-on activities and participate in four learning sessions:
- Marketing Mayhem
- Secrets to Success
- The Entrepreneurship Mindset
- Cookie Cost Accounting
Students may register at parkland.edu/careerexploration. A photo release which can be found at parkland.edu/photoform is required for each student.
