Music performance by the talented students of C4A.
Head to the Urbana Free Library for this special performance by two unique groups from Urbana’s own Community Center for the Arts (C4A), the Bow-Dacious String Band and OMG.
The Bow-Dacious String Band, C4A’s youth fiddle band, plays fiddle dance tunes, popular music, and folk music from around the world. OMG, C4A’s intergenerational ensemble, plays music from the Baroque and Renaissance periods, blending stylistic performance with modern sensibilities.
C4A, Community Center for the Arts, is a community music school serving all ages and skill levels, from absolute beginner to advanced players. Their mission is to build community through shared experience in music, provide high quality music instruction, and make live music accessible to anyone who wants it.
