This event is an absolute favorite every year and a must-see even for native midwestern folk. It is a fundraiser for Bluestem Hall Nature School. All proceeds will go towards their nonprofit program for nature-base education!
Join them to celebrate the incredible and magical firefly season with an Entomologist (insect expert!), live music, an evening prairie walk, and small bites for snacking!
Enjoy the beautiful wrap around porch settled on a hill in the prairie as you watch the fireflies by the firepit, feel free to bring camping chairs + a blanket, relax with friends, and learn about why fireflies do what they do! What an incredible species that brings magic to our midwestern summers. This is a family friendly event for all ages!
Please remember that events may be canceled or rescheduled last minute due to unpredictable weather or other factors. We encourage you to reach out to event organizers before heading out to an event to verify it is still happening.
