This year’s Bike & Roll to School Day (BRTSD) will be held on Wednesday, May 6. The purpose of BRTSD is to encourage and bring attention to safe bicycling and walking practices to the broader C-U community. The event focuses on celebrating active transportation for children traveling to school, which has the effects of promoting health, safety, environmental sustainability, and reduced traffic. BRTSD is for all students and all families.
Bike & Roll to School Day this year is Wednesday, May 6, 2026. C-U Safe Routes to School Project invites students and schools in Champaign-Urbana to participate! Your registration before Wednesday, April 29 will greatly help the to plan ahead.
