BATS AT THE BRIDGE
Museum of the Grand Prairie Education Center, Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve, 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Learn more about these ecologically important mammals, and what recent studies on this particular colony of bats have shown. After a short presentation, walk down to the covered bridge and watch for the bats as they fly out to forage for insects. You may wish to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket to sit on. Recommended for ages 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. FREE.
