Joseph Van Kerkhove will give a lecture at 1pm, October 10, about his work in the Staerkel Planetarium at Parkland College, followed by a printmaking demonstration in the Art & Design Studio, room C186.
Van Kerkhove is an Associate Professor of Art at Tiffin University in Toledo, Ohio, and his work incorporates traditional and experimental printmaking techniques. He is also the co-founder of the Experiencing Veterans and Artists Collaborations (EVAC) Project, which brings together veterans and artists to create prints based on veterans’ stories.
The EVAC show will be on view in Giertz Gallery from Monday, October 7–Tuesday, November 12, 2024
