Come down, gals and ghouls, and see what it means to be (periodically) ScArY! Watch as members of the chemistry organization at UIUC, the American Chemistry Society (ACS), put on exciting Halloween-themed chemistry demonstrations and explain the “why?” behind everything!
This event is open to students and community members but mainly for families with school-aged kids. This event is free to attend, and costumes are encouraged!
This show is on Friday, October 20th, starting at 5:30 p.m. at 505 S Mathews Ave (Noyes Laboratory). You will find their spooktastic science show in Noyes 100, the main lecture hall immediately visible when you enter Noyes Laboratory from the West (main entrance).
Side note: They’ve scheduled this show the week before Halloween to avoid trick or treating to maximize the amount of Halloween fun we can all have!
