Please join Carle in honoring the memory of those precious babies who are gone from our arms, but forever in our hearts. The evening will be remembering these babies along with thousands of others as we participate in the International Wave of Light, the annual worldwide lighting of candles at 7 p.m.
The Memorial will take place in the Pollard Auditorium at the Forum at Carle in Urbana, with a cookie reception to follow in the Memorial Garden.
The event will be streamed online using Microsoft Teams. If you choose to attend virtually, we encourage you to safely light a candle at home.
There will also be a table for children to decorate luminaries for their lost siblings. The activity will be available from 6 p.m. until the event begins, please consider coming early to participate.
They invite you to visit carle.org/ShiningLight for more information, and to register your baby’s name to be read aloud during the ceremony. Registration is not required to attend.
