‘Ask Miss Cherie’: Navigating Raising Kids in Champaign-Urbana

It takes a village, right? Raising kids is hard work, but the wins are so rewarding!  Starting this week, Chambanamoms.com and Lodgic Kids Camp have joined forces to help bring families more wins.

Cherie Mondrella, Kids Camp Director, has over 25 years of experience working with children and families. Each week, Cherie will join us and answer a question from you, our readers. Creating positive, lasting social and emotional competency is a key component of the Kids Camp curriculum, and Miss Cherie will help provide you with solutions to your parenting challenges by sharing insights you can use at home. Kids Camp teachers are always ready for teachable moments that can happen at any time, and you can be too! Cherie comes to us as an expert in children, but also as a mom of grown boys.

Each time you submit a question, you will be entered to win a free hour of Kids Camp (pending paperwork completion).  Up to 3 winners per week.

Week #1: Introduction & ‘How do I create a schedule for my kiddos in the summer?’

Week #2: ‘What do I do when my child is hitting to communicate?’
