Head out to the trails with your kids to find the unique decorated eggs around Champaign County Forest Preserve in April
Find dozens of brightly painted eggs beginning April 1
Just as the weather begins to warm, we’ve got a great reason to head outside to our favorite county forest preserves to go on an extra special “hunt” with our kids. The Champaign County Forest Preserve has set its brightly colored painted eggs — large rocks — throughout all locations and you can make it a goal to find as many as you can this spring! (Just don’t try to put them in a basket.)
