The end of January is here! What feels like one of the longest months of the year, January is drawing to a close in the coming days. This weekend feels like the most winter of all weekends we have seen yet this season, so make sure you check out where to go sledding as part of your fun!

University of Illinois Athletics
Fighting Illini Women’s Basketball game on Sunday, Jan. 29 vs. Michigan State will celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day. The game starts at 5 p.m., however the action will start at 3:30 p.m with a pregame clinic with Fighting Illini Women’s Sport Programs. Admission is free for all those 12 and under the day of the game!

Carle Auditory Oral School
Carle Auditory Oral School’s early childhood school program is now accepting Fall 2023 applications for children between 3 and 5 years of age. Originally designed to support children who are deaf and hard of hearing in developing listening and spoken language, their small class sizes and passionate staff provides all students with hands on learning opportunities and a solid foundation in literacy. CCRS payments (plus assigned family co-pay) now cover full tuition for families that qualify for support from the Child Care Resource Service.

University Primary School
University Primary School will hold their Community Open House for prospective families on Wednesday, February 1 as part of admissions season now open for the 2023-24 school year. Visit Preschool between 8:30 AM-Noon and Kindergarten-Fifth Grades between 8:30 AM-2:30 PM that date. Uni Primary is the lab school for The College of Education, on campus at The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
