Spring break camps and childcare in Champaign-Urbana
For many, spring break isn’t a break at all — just another week of the year when the kids aren’t in school.
If you’re looking for spring break childcare there are a bunch of options in town, mostly for children of elementary age. So what did we do? We made a list! All of these options are for March 14-18, 2022, unless noted otherwise.

Everything below is subject to change; call ahead to sign up or register.
Kick back and spend your spring break exploring, going on field trips, playing games, and making crafts! Bring a lunch and water bottle daily, and remember to dress for mess. Morning/afternoon snack will be provided. Camp drop-off begins at 7:30am and scheduled activities begin by 9am.

The Champaign Park District is your child’s destination for positive, educational, and productive programs when school is out. Fee includes supplies, equipment, morning snack, and field trips. Children should bring a sack lunch, water bottle, and afternoon snack. No peanut products, please.

When school isn’t in session for winter break, spring break, holidays, or district in-service, the Y is your most convenient child care alternative. Schools out days curriculum includes supervised free play, interactive group games, rock climbing, crafts, swimming, and indoor/outdoor physical exercise. Due to the staff and student ratios upheld by the YMCA, participation in YMCA schools’ out days requires advanced registration.

Mahomet Parks and Recreation Department Spring Break Sports Camp
Wondering what to do with your kids while they’re out of school? Register for MPRD’s Spring Break Sports Camp for a couple hours of fun! They’ll play fun games, enjoy organized group sports, make fun crafts, and so much more!
Dates: March 14-18, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
