Not only are there cards (and maybe even candy) to exchange, but craft projects and oodles of pink-themed fun are everywhere you look.

From February 14-18, 2022, Busey will be celebrating Random Acts of Kindness. Deanna will be talking about how the campaign started and how she’s seen it evolve in nearly a decade.

Creating a kinder, more compassionate world is no small task. Busey wants to help spread the love and share ideas on how you can help make a difference in the lives of others.

Since 2015, Busey has celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Week, encouraging kindness and finding a way to brighten someone’s day—something as small as a handwritten note of appreciation or paying for a stranger’s coffee. After all, a small, simple gesture can make all the difference in someone’s day.

Featured Event – Illinois ECE – Saturday Engineering for Everyone

Saturday Engineering for Everyone is a free online lecture series aimed at non-engineers who are interested in learning about engineering topics. Assistant Professor Girish Chowdhary (ABE & CS) is now leading an effort to improve farming practices even more by making it autonomous through artificial intelligence. In order to protect the health and safety of the community during the pandemic, the first two sessions (February 12 and February 26) will be conducted virtually on Zoom.
