March ushers in the Madness — and not just the basketball kind. Yes, there are basketball tournaments that tend to claim our attention on some days, but even if you’re not a hoops fan, you don’t need to look far to find things to do, even in a pandemic world. Each spring male American woodcocks perform their “sky dance.” This program will explain how and where you can go to see this aerial display in person. HURRY — must register by March 3.
This year’s event will be comprised of two parts — one part will be in-person and the other will be virtual. The in-person event is a drive-thru in which participants will receive a free book, tote bag and mask. The online event begins Saturday and continues Sunday. Details here.
Illini Fest, March 7
Watch familiar Illini do fun things online — register here — on a night of celebrating Illini of all stripes. You can watch live at 7 p.m. or check it out on YouTube later.
Let’s Learn with WILL-TV, March 8
For those 3-8-year-olds who don’t have access to virtual learning and aren’t going to school right now, WILL Radio TV Online has something new to offer. On Mondays at 11 a.m., WILL-TV will broadcast “Let’s Learn,” an instructional TV series featuring educators teaching from their homes.

Visit Mahomet’s Barber Park for one of the first Easter egg hunts of the season, and meet the Bunny. MUST REGISTER by March 23.
