Halloween Trick-or-Treat Hours for Champaign-Urbana Area Communities
It’s their favorite night of the year! Oct. 31 means trick or treating, of course. One thing parents need to be aware of, especially parents who are new to a community or new to having kids trick-or-treating, is that most area towns have specific trick-or-treat hours. And in many communities in the Champaign-Urbana area, they only get two “official” hours to trick or treat. Of course, most folks are just happy to have trick-or-treating at all, given the challenges we’ve faced in 2020. (Guidance had been released earlier from the Illinois Department of Public Health.)
You can also find a list of drive-thru events in the area. We’ve also put together a list of 12 ideas for trick or treat alternatives, if this is not your jam – in 2020, or frankly, any year.
Use our guide to make the most of this very special day, and be sure to check back as we add more confirmed area trick-or-treat times.
