The Fourth of July is coming — and with it arrives fun family-friendly events in and around Champaign-Urbana, from Paxton to Monticello to Rantoul to Seymour to Tuscola to Danville. Yes, even in 2020.
This list comprises events that include parades, craft days, festivals, fireworks and more.
In Champaign-Urbana and beyond, marking Independence Day means more than a week of celebrations. So don’t be surprised to see that a lot of this Fourth of July revelry actually takes place on days other than the actual holiday.
But hey – why limit the celebrations to just one day? That seems to be the mantra throughout East Central Illinois.
With the Fourth of July on a Saturday this year, celebrations will be going strong for over a week before and after the big day. Don’t miss your favorite event – put it on your calendar today.
The best news: many of these events are completely free, and any admission prices are indicated where applicable.
Enjoy your Fourth of July, Champaign-Urbana!
