Easter weekend is here and we are ready to celebrate social-distance style for this year with our families
Make Easter this year a memorable one for your kids with some beyond ordinary circumstances
We hope you are ready to have a special Easter weekend at home this year. And while we know you may have some pangs of longing for your “normal” Easter tradtions, we are here to encourage you to embrace one year of some new-to-you traditions or pandemic-style, pajama-clad outfits and activities. When you want some new ideas for this weekend, check out our post on having a happy Easter at home – and remember – you don’t have to do it all! If you plan to put Easter baskets together and haven’t picked anything up yet, we have a list of things you can find at the grocery store (it’s probably too late to order from the “online” list by now). And did you know, many local restaurants are offering up Easter and Passover meals to go this week? And if you think it would be a good fit for your family, you can set up a family Zoom call, so you can be together on Easter without actually being together.
You may also be looking for a local church that is streaming its services – we have this list ready for you, and your church can still submit its times to be included if they will be streaming, too.
We truly hope you have a good holiday weekend. In the midst of uncertain times, there is much to be grateful for and the Champiagn-Urbana community is taking great care of one another as we navigate this season together.
