Where you can find Thanksgiving Dinner in Champaign-Urbana
From community dinners to restaurants serving traditional Thanksgiving dinner, where families can share a meal on Thanksgiving Day.
As we know, Champaign-Urbana is a very transient community. Many of us are from other parts of the state, the nation, and even the world, so we are here to help you find a place to eat and try some of the delicious Thanksgiving staples around Champaign-Urbana and beyond.
For many, Thanksgiving can be an isolating time, regardless of our ability to put a feast on the table. Some have to work that day, making it impossible to travel to family; others simply can’t afford to leave or who have family living too far away to easily travel for the weekend. Some people don’t enjoy cooking and look forward to that opportunity to relax and mingle with their out-of-town guests. Whatever your situation, we can help find a solution that best meets the needs of you and your family.
We have listed communal options, as well as a short list of restaurants serving Thanksgiving meals in Champaign-Urbana. (Our list includes restaurants that are actually serving traditional Thanksgiving menus; other restaurants may be open as well.)
