Hoping to snap a picture of your little one with the Easter Bunny before he hops away until next spring? Here are eight places to find that furry, little friend this Easter (for our full list of egg hunts, visit our Easter Egg Hunt guide sponsored by Smile Doctors of Champaign).
Easter Bunny at Dallas and Company: Bring your own camera and visit the Easter Bunny for free at Dallas and Company. The Bunny will be hopping into the store from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on both March 17 and March 24.
Photos with the Easter Bunny at Market Place Mall: Hop on over to the mall (Center Court) and get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny March 22-31. Photo purchase and reservations are not required to visit the Easter Bunny, but are available on their website to allow you to skip the line. Pet photos are available on March 26 from 5-8 p.m. ONLY.
The Great Egg Chase at The Vineyard Church: This is a community Easter event for families of toddlers through 5th grade. The morning includes Breakfast, Easter Presentation, Photos with the Easter Bunny, Prize Giveaways, and of course, an Egg Hunt!
11th Annual Mahomet Eggstravaganza (Registration Required): Join us for our 11th Annual Egg Hunt. Children will have the opportunity to meet the Bunny and have fun with a good ole’ fashion egg hunt, find a golden egg for a special prize! Dress warm, it may be cold! For ages 0-3, 4-6, and 7-10. The cost is $5 per child.
27th Annual Eggstravaganza: Join us at West Side Park where thousands of eggs wait to be found. Free hayrack rides will take place before the event from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and there will be a special guest on site for all the little egg hunters to enjoy! Don’t forget your basket – the egg hunt starts at 11a sharp!
Illini Baseball and Bunny at the Ball Park: Illini vs. Iowa at 3 p.m. on March 31 will have an Easter Egg Hunt and an appearance by the Easter Bunny. The 2 p.m. game on Sunday, April 1 will also have an appearance by the Bunny, but no Egg Hunt.
Harvest Moon Twin Drive-In Theatre: An egg hunt, organized by age group, will be held during the afternoon and the Easter bunny will be out for pictures. The Carousel will be open for rides and limited concessions will be available.
Bunny Brunch at Douglass Community Center (Registration Required): Come to the inaugural Bunny Brunch for treats and photos with the Easter Bunny. The cost is $4 for residents, $6 for non-residents. The Eggsploration Egg Hunt will follow this event outside at Douglass Park (no registration required for Egg Hunt).
