If your family loves to read like mine does, you might find yourself at Book Fairs – a lot. If that sounds familiar, listen up – because this article is for you. The Scholastic Book Fairs Holiday Warehouse Sale is just the place to do some holiday shopping for book lovers as well as to bulk up your home, school, classroom, church or other library.
This sale is so fantastic, for some it’s definitely worth driving the 50 minutes to Bloomington to reap the benefits. The Scholastic Book Fair Holiday Warehouse Sale takes place on Dec. 12-14 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day, at the Holiday Inn & Suites across from the Central Illinois Regional Airport. The hotel is at 3202 East Empire Street, Bloomington.
This time, everything is BOGO – or buy one, get one free (same or lesser value). Before you go, register for the Super Savings Pass ($10 off $100).
According to the website, the sale is for “school employees, school district personnel, homeschool directors & teachers, and Book Fair chairpeople and volunteers.” While they can’t advertise this as being open to the general public, all are welcome. When a similar sale was in Urbana a couple years ago, they did not check ID or turn any shoppers away.
