After months of preparation, talented young performers under the direction of experienced professionals will bring the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory to life in the story of conflict between management and labor, as well as a battle of the sexes.
When new superintendent Sid Sorkin clashes with Babe Williams, leader of the union grievance committee, workers strike for a 7 ½ cent pay increase, setting off a chain of events. “The Pajama Game is simply a fun musical. The story is one of learning to work together and plays out through a number of catchy songs, exciting dances, and enjoyable characters,” director Kyle A. Thomas said. “It’s a fun show to do and equally fun to direct!”
