When I meet people who have just moved to the area, I listen and smile as they tell me they’ll only be here for just a short while; that Chambana is way-station on the road to some other destination.

From There to Here: Network Disconnected

Being far from home can make you feel disconnected.

I have a drawer full of plastic and porcelain bunnies and chicks, and even a decorative bird’s nest complete with wee, blue robin’s eggs. I put it on my glass cake stand in the center of the dining room table and hang sparkly eggs from thechandelier.
