I am scheduled to have a C-section on Feb. 29. I did not request it, and had mixed feelings about it at first, but I am due on March 6 and that is when there is an opening. It wasn't until my husband said, "That's awesome!" (the first time he's been super excited about anything this pregnancy; it's MY first baby, but his fourth) that I realized how fun it can be and how many perks there are out there to Leap Day babies. I've read both sides, and if our little girl does not decide to come early, I will be proud to have a Leap Day girl!

Our family likes to meet up at The Beef House for special occasions. I agree that children are welcome there and the food is top notch. I think the review fails to mention that there's also a premium price at The Beef House. Dinners are between $20-40.00 per person with most falling in the $28-33 range. Child meals run about $8 each.

Girls face such a variety of issues today and reading real life questions with honest and straightforward answers helps them know they are not alone--and keeps them reading! My daughter loves these types of books and it gives her an easy way to share truth with school friends by letting them read also.

I'm pretty sure we only want one child. Well, my husband has always been sure since we were dating. I'm still on the fence - mostly because I feel a bit of guilt - and he's told me he's open to it if I feel strongly about it. But I don't feel strongly about it. At all. And I already feel people looking astonished about our desire for one. Even though she's 6 weeks old! I don't know how they can even suggest I have another when I'm still coping with baby blues and sleep deprivation. It almost feels cruel.

With just our one beautiful baby, we have more freedom and mobility. We have choices. I can take her on a long walk and be a bit spontaneous not have to worry about wrangling another child. We can take her to a restaurant and put her car seat next to us while she naps and still have alone time. We can give her things our parents couldn't afford for us. And we can give her our time and focus. She's also very laid back and I don't want to have another and risk upsetting the balance of our little family.

It's upsetting that people feel 2+ is 'right'. It makes Moms wanting one child feel a bit alienated or like their desire is selfish and wrong. If your family feels complete with 1 or 10, that should be good enough for everyone else.

Congratulations on your new vacuum! I remember how excited I was when I got mine. To make this new one last, you might want to know that vacuums are intended to pickup invisible dirt (dust, dust mites, mold spores, etc.) and that visible dirt (pine needles, Lucky Charms) should be picked up by hand (or swept) before breaking out the vac. Sad but true!

What great timing! Hopefully it sucked up all of the lucky charms (and then some!) and made walking on your floors tolerable again :)

Thanks for the heads up about this giveaway on Facebook, Nicole.

I have an 11 year old daughter and I've noticed in this last year she has started to develop some more "teenage" attitudes (not necessarily negative) and I haven't been a teen in a while so I'm a little out of the loop, especially with this new generation. I'd love to win this book to share with her.

I already follow your ezine (at the email I entered) and I retweeted (I think I did it right) about this article on my Twitter account (mybucklngbkshlf).

Thanks for the chance to win...Blessings...
