Dr. Young is amazing. She never rushed you and made you feel comfortable with everything that was going on.
Dr. Weisbaum is great, but I learned last week that he is no longer going to be delivering babies and isn’t taking any new patients. Bummer!
I went to Ray Spooner when I had my baby. Couldn’t recommend him more. He was great!
Dr. Helfer was just a blessing, being a teen mom I was scared at the time, I didn’t know what to expect! Everything was so new to me, I felt like I was in a whole new world every time I went to the doctor office but once Dr. Helfer enter the room I felt safe and comfortable, she listen and understood my situation. I recommend her to my older sister just last year and also a coworker of mines, they both came back and told me thanks and were so glad to have someone who cared!
Ray Spooner was amazing. I saw all of the MW at Carle, but wound up seeing him the most and he delivered my youngest. He is so calm! I wound up with some complications that (of course) went against my Ideal Birth, but he explained everything and patiently answered my questions. (He was also pretty cool to my other kid when a childcare snafu occurred and I wound up with an audience at an appointment.)
Candace McGregor at Christie on University is phenomenal. She is very patient, and very compassionate. It is very clear that she loves her work, and genuinely cares for her patients as people.
I can’t recommend Dr. Tiffani Clark-Dillard at Carle enough. She has the most easy-going demeanor — “let’s not worry about things until there are things to worry about” — but gets down to business when necessary (like when I had an emergency c-section after 14 hrs of labor with my first), and her gut instincts are impeccable (like when she determined that my second should be delivered early).
I love love love Dr. K. King at Christie. Down to earth and willing to talk through any situation or concern you or she may have. Very carrying and realistic.
