It’s easy to put books on your child’s back-to-school shopping list, thanks to several area library used book sales.
Throughout August at the Champaign Public Library‘s FriendShop bookstore, children’s books, regularly 50¢ each, will be BOGO (Buy One, Get One free.) On the final weekend, Aug. 25 and 26, students of all ages can choose any regular-priced book in the shop to take home free.
Located on the Champaign Public Library’s lower level, the FriendShop bookstore is open every Saturday and Sunday from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sales from the Friendshop go to support programs at CPL including the summer reading program and the In Concert at CPL performance series.
