Valentine’s Day Giveaway: Pinkalicious Tickets!

Do you have Pinkalicious fans in your house? Well, you won’t want to miss Pinkalicious the Musical, playing at the Parkland College Theater starting Feb. 22 through March 10. And we have four tickets to give away to one lucky winner (see below!).

If you’re not familiar with the story, here’s a great synopsis: Pinkalicious Parkland Champaign
The popular children’s book Pinkalicious has been transformed into an adorable, energetic musical for children of all ages! Pinkalicious loves pink and wants everything in her life to be pink. Despite warnings from her parents, Pinkalicious can’t stop eating pink cupcakes! Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor’s office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe – a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this predicament.
The show goes up on February 22, and continues Feb. 24 and 25, March 2, 3, 8, 9, 10 at 7:30 p.m. (Two matinees, on March 3 and March 10, are already sold out).

The show runs for approximately an hour; afterward, feel free to meet the cast and indulge in a pink cupcake or two.

Ticket Prices are $14 for Adults, $12 for Students and Seniors (55+), $8 for Youth (12 and under) and $10 for groups of 15 or more. Opening Night, Wednesday, Feb. 22 is “Pay what you can night!’ where YOU set the ticket price and on Thursday, March 8 all tickets are half-price.

Because my mother loved reading and bought my daughter every one of these books (sometimes before we could even find out the new one had been released she would pre-order them so she could give them to her before us. We call it the Purpleiscious feud of 2010) for our daughter over the years and read them to her religiously. Sadly my mother passed away last spring quickly and unexpectedly from stomach cancer at 52 and with that anniversary coming up I think this would be a great way for my daughter to remember her Nana and enjoy those stories in a new way.

  42. Amy says:

I’d love to take my 5yo daughter (and a couple of friends) on a mommy-daughter date to enjoy the show. In addition to loving everything girly AND pink…she loves musicals! Perfect! :)
