I don’t know about you guys, but when it comes to crafting, I’m all for it.
As long as it happens somewhere else.
Not crafty by nature, I breathed a huge sigh of relief when preschool rolled around and my kid could cut out play-dough shapes and finger paint to her heart’s content — without me.
I’m still not that into crafting with kids, even though I’ve certainly got some receipts from the Giant Craft Supply Store that say otherwise. I do it, dutifully, but I always cringe when I think about cleaning up the mess afterward.
Enter: Bendaroos.
When the fine folks at Bendaroos offered to send me a box for my kids to try out, I said yes, please and thank you. Emmie asks for Bendaroos about 1,000 times a day, usually after she sees one of those “As Seen on TV” pitches for them.
Bendaroos are great for two reasons: One, kids love them and, two, there is no mess to clean up.
Oh, and they are also super-fun and let kids get super-creative. The website has some great suggestions for ways to use them, both for parents, and for educators. Emmie loves hers, and she’s would like to share them with you!
That last part was a bit of a fib — if she knew there was another set of them to be had she might not want to share.
But the fine people Bendaroos DO want to share them with you! One lucky winner will be chosen at random and Bendaroos will send you one of these babies:
A 500-piece Mega Pack of Bendaroos, valued at $19.99, just for you!

My favorite kids kraft is play doh.

I have to admit, I don’t like the mess that most crafts make. So we color a lot. But Bendaroos sounds perfect!!
My 5 year old loves to cut and glue- he makes crazy pictures with paper, yarn, fabric…whatever he can find!
I’m already on the mailing list.
Our little ones would LOVE this! I don’t mind doing crafts but I sure dread the clean up.
My kids favorite craft is good ole paper and scissors. They love to cut out their creations!
I am also a devout anti-crafter. One year the kids in my son’s preschool class made a card for the Moms for Mother’s Day. Most cards said things like: “I love my Mom because she loves me and gives great hugs”. My son’s card said: ” I love my Mom because sometimes she lets me play with Play-Doh”. I guess the times he did get to do crafts at home were very special to him
my kid loves to paint, on paper, on rocks, on wooden crafty things …
These look like a good alternative to the mess of other crafts.
Already on your list. My son likes markers & paper & Play doh.
My son loves drawing pictures of dragons and other fun stuff and taping them on his wall! He’s also been begging me for bendaroos when he sees the commercials! He would LOVE them!
I’m also already on your e-mail newsletter e-mail list.
Mine is all over the place. One day it is Play Doh, another he really likes to color.
I’m on your e-mail list.
We love to crete things and this will a wonderful kit to have!!
I like play dough the best probably because both my boys can work it pretty well and build the fine motor skills. Keeping it in the kitchen cuts down on messiness, but the Bendaroos would certainly help with that too.
And I’m on your e-mail list.
I’m already on the list and our favorite craft is either play doh or moon sand. Anything they can build with/mash into my carpet is a hit here
I’m on your email list.
I love crafting (hate the mess too though). My little one has loved finger painting since he was about 10 weeks!
Already on the list.
One of my kids favorite art projects is painting.
My son probably counts as an anti-crafter. Getting him to do anything other than a maze Kia like pulling teeth. Which is really funny, since he’ll use his Aqua-doodle on car trips until it runs dry.

I’m a wannabe crafter. I try and make the effort but wish I was better. Not sure if the bendaroos will help me, but my daughter would definitely be an excellent teacher. Thank you!
Well I love to craft and think my kids are following in my footsteps- especially my daughter. They love painting so we got a birdhouse at Michaels and let them paint on it then put a glaze on it- it’s in our backyard and they love it. We also always paint on the little pumpkins this time of year, make cards, window decorations and give them to grandparents who love it. Plus many other crafts!
My favorite kid craft was painting suncatchers.
