Last week, we told you about the exciting upcoming production of Once Upon a Mattress, the zany fairy tale musical presented by the Urbana Park District’s Youth Summer Theatre. Once Upon a Mattress opens Wednesday night for a four-day run at Foellinger Auditorium, located on the south end of the University of Illinois quad, with performances every night at 7:30 p.m. — and one matinee.
We also let you know that the Urbana Park District has blocked off a section of seats especially for chambanamoms.com readers for the noon matinee edition of Once Upon a Mattress on Thursday. Everyone sitting in the chambanamoms.com seat block will be eligible for prizes at intermission; if you wear a chambanamoms.com T-shirt (let us know if you want one) you’ll get a prize automatically.
Now, we’re announcing a Once Upon a Mattress ticket giveaway! The Urbana Park District generously has given chambanamoms.com four tickets to give out to one lucky winner for the matinee showing of this fantastic show on Thursday, July 29 at noon in Urbana’s Foellinger Auditorium.
