Jewdar! I LOVE IT!!

Will keep you posted. Going to look into this more tomorrow. I’m mostly just scared b/c aside from Shelly & Danielle, I don’t know anyone really well who’s going. I’m a nerd. Also have never been to a bloggy conference. Worried I won’t fit in and will be sitting all alone.

But would love to have bagels & a bat mitzvah w/ you!

Did your Jewdar go off around me? People tell me all the time I don’t look Jewish. Not sure if that’s a compliment, but it’s something. I’m looking forward to the Blissdom Breakfast Minyan or the Blissdom Martini Minyan.

I don’t wear my religion on my sleeve either. But, sometimes, I feel left out because I don’t have that ‘instant connection’ that many of these ladies at Blissdom felt. It will be like a ‘Bliss Mitzvah’ – better than a Bat Mitzvah b/c there will be no haftorah or inappropriate uncle trying to be weird with our friends.

I love that you used your Jewdar to find me at Blissdom! Was it the “Oy! Harry Connick Jr. is a nice Jewish boy!” tweet that gave me away?

I’m in for next year’s breakfast, but I cannot endorse the bagel-fuls. I think we’ll need to have some serious goods shipped in from New York.

As a devout Episcopalian, I fall into the category of “God’s Frozen People.” But I still think that a good, liberal Episcopalian is the next best thing to being “God’s Chosen People.” And, true to my Episcopal roots, I would attend the Blissdom blogging conference solely to procure the esteemed baked goods alone. So, please count me in the numbers of your tribe, and let me know if you need assistance in garnering your sponsors. I am your soul sister; more than you know. Also, where two or three of us are gathered, there is a fifth. Episcopal-wise, that is. So if you would need a little something to wash down the bagels, I am at your service. Cheers!
