The wait is over — chambanamoms.com and Cakes on Walnut are pleased to announce our first Mom’s Night Out event! Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. for a night of sweets, swag (for the first 25 in the door) and swell conversation with fellow Chambana moms. We will have door prizes as well as many other surprises – you won’t want to miss out. And we’ll get you caffinated – all lattes will be $2. We’re giving you plenty of advanced notice, so no excuses ladies!

JUST A REMINDER: We have changed the nature of the contest as well as the deadlines for the Sweet Party Girl contest co-sponsored by Cakes on Walnut and chambanamoms.com. The deadline has been extended to midnight on Sunday, Feb. 7, and the age limit has also been changed to include girls ages 5 to 12.
Applicants may submit their entries in two ways: by shooting a short video telling us why she would make the perfect Sweet Party Girl or by submitting a 100-word essay to chambanamoms.com.
Mothers, feel free to nominate your daughters! Just send us an email telling us why your sweet girl should be the Sweet Party Girl. The winner will get a special glam cupcake party for five friends at the hip downtown Champaign bakery, and will also have a chance to help Cakes on Walnut owners Amanda and Trisha Bates design the perfect birthday party.
