And so I thought that would be the same routine the next week b/c New Year's Day was also on a Friday... logical assumption right? I guess not... b/c the loud garbage truck went rumbling by around 10am on New Year's Day as I was enjoying the Rose Bowl Parade and my overflowing garbage canS were hanging out inside the garage... and now I can barely find my van amidst the piles of trash bags and boxes left over from hosting everyone for Christmas - 10 days ago - and there are still 4 days until the garbage truck comes back.
